This doesn't pass the smell test

'The list goes on and on of all the things. Our gas tax automatically increases in New Jersey, and by the way, so do our tolls and our fees automatically increase,' he said before sharing unsolicited advice to his constituents. 'I'm talking to my folks in New Jersey, my state, you better just keep breaking your back and working hard, maybe get yet another job.'

They can’t possibly be this tone deaf, not in an election year. On paper, they’re giving us a two-foot layup, I just have a feeling there’s a catch.

You’re telling me, with job losses, layoffs, more debt, a severely unpopular war, gas prices, a police state, a volatile stock market, higher grocery prices, trying to fund defense make more healthcare cuts that’s going to curry favor with voters?

The electorate can only suffer so much before running against trans people and pronouns get played out.

Even if the electorate wants to clean the MAGA mess out of Congress, are they going to get that chance?

These dirty scoundrels are going to try *every* trick in the book over the course of the next seven months. They may not succeed, but they’re absolutely going to try.

Because why else would they seemingly make it this easy? There has to be a catch, and we have to stay vigilant.

They've seized control of enough government, damn near all the media, the voting systems and don't think they can be stopped.

That's the catch. And elected Democrats seem to be either unaware or unwilling to do anything about it. Not all, but far too few. And some, like the Manchin/Sinema/Fetterman types are actively working against us.

Unfortunately, there are enough sheeple who buy into their shit and support them. Remember, they were willing to sacrifice granny to reopen things and save Wall Street.
