(7,376 posts)Susie is the managerial child of an outwardly successful man who was also an out-or-control alcoholic. She is still the Daddys girl who survived chaos by managing Daddy.
She is playing that role with Trump as his chief of staff. It is her entire performance: managing Daddy Trump and his messes and never confronting him.
Evidence?
Susie Wiles know her father was an alcoholic personality and she has stated that Trump has an alcoholic personality.
I believe she has been in therapy and has an understanding about her relationship with her father and her rationship with Trump but she still has not been able to perform as a Chief of Staff because she remains stuck in her role of managing the alcoholic personality father figure.

(19,474 posts)Interesting take you posted. I need to rush out for groceries so I haven't read EarlG's links yet, but thinking about her situation you might be right.
Too bad she can't do an intervention with Trump. I'm not sure that it is possible to intervene for someone with the multiple mental health issues he seems to exhibit. Also there are none in his circle who would dare to participate. I wonder if this "alcoholic personality" is a incorrect view of him.

(26,042 posts)inaccuracies (lies) about the war. It's not that he's inept, lying, manipulating the markets, or incapable of "taking in" the intel reports.
He just isn't being properly informed.

(6,687 posts)She played a key role in plotting out how to con the rubes so that Daddy Trump could get re-installed in the White House. She deserves every bit of guilt and recrimination that comes her way.

(18,653 posts)This appears to be the administration's latest line of BS. On 'The Ingraham Angle,' Laura Ingraham questioned whether Trump was "fully briefed about the risks" of the military operation, "was he then able to take it all in and understand the complexity of this how complex it could actually get and further possibilities of casualties or other damage, the difficulty of dealing with these people or was he told this would be relatively quick in and out?"
MS NOW's Nicolle Wallace said of Ingrahams remarks: "Apparently, Donald Trump is never wrong. But when he is wrong, when he gets something wrong, as the MAGA newscasters are starting to worry, maybe it must be someone elses fault, right?...the president cant fail. Instead, he can only be failed."
