yes, the leaders rather take all cult members with them and also people trying to save the cult members.

My family members have told me about Aunt Natlee in San Francisco during the Jim Jones era. Aunt Natlee was a member of the cult and although many cult members gave up all their monies and property to Jim Jones, Aunt Natlee did keep her home.
