The Audacity of Hope
There have only been several times in my life where I have felt truly hopeful when it comes to politics. The first was when I was at a friend's house watching the election results the first time Obama was elected. I sat and watched the first black President get elected thinking we had turned the page on racism. The other time was yesterday when rumors were swirling about the Trump’s health. I guess it wasn't as much hope as it was a feeling of less certain doom.
