Punish the Generals for Following Illegal Orders

What are the mechanisms for prosecuting Trump's Generals? The US is not part of the ICC (as we're criming all the time) so how can the Generals who are committing war crimes be held accountable?

Brought before a court martial.

Never will happen, but that is the correct way to handle war criminals, putting service personnel at risk.

We MUST join the ICC. We have been so seemingly superior for too darn long. Join, with humility, then send them a number of our officers and politicians.

That as part of the cleansing of the rotten stench of the Trump Maga movement, there will be internal proceedings in the military to see who did what wrong. Part of that will be the office of the jag coming back without being Trump loyalist.

A military officer or enlisted person can only be tried for military-related alleged crimes by court-martial. When a general is court-martialed, the convening authority (a senior commander) selects a panel of peers—usually other generals—to serve as members (jurors).

The armed forces must be trusted to evaluate orders themselves. Trying to coerce them or threaten them is un-American. And the Democrats are not doing that, by the way. Your opinion is just that, your opinion. And I think it's a bad idea. Very bad.

Maybe in a few years, under a new administration.
