Interesting take on the March jobs report

Only 6:34 long, but the main point he made was of the 178,000 job created, 41,000 were Kaiser Permanente settling their strike. He said the April and May reports will be much more indicative of market conditions. He speculated that the report may be a "Dead cat bounce." We shall see.

The bar is set so low that an average report is seen as good now. Biden got hammered by the media for better reports than this one.

I will keep repeating it, but I don't think people understand how much damage an entire year with virtually no job creation will do to the working class. We're talking 12 months now where the economy has lost 170,000 jobs. 2024 saw the Biden economy add 2.2M jobs. 2025, the leftover Biden economy added 500K jobs in the first 3 months, Since then, after the Tariffs went into effect, the economy has lose 170K jobs. Read that again, since Trump's tariffs, the economy didn't just not produce a net single new job, it had a net loss of 170,000 jobs.

Again, Biden in 2024 +183,300 jobs a month
Trump in Q1 of 2025 +168,000 jobs a month
****Trump's tariffs instituted in February of 2025****
Trump's 2025 and 2026 economy averaging losing 14,000 jobs a month.

If he would have done nothing and continued Biden's job creation machine of an economy, about 2 million more jobs would have been created. His tariffs effectively killed 2 million jobs.
