Man, fuck you, antivaxxers!

Measles still kills 1-2 per thousand cases, and that is with modern acute care. If the patient lives, they can have permanent neurological damage, seizures, blindness, and immune suppression (wipes out acquired immunity for years making the patient more susceptible to other deadly diseases).

Back before vaccines (and admittedly sanitation), child mortality was something like 20-50% depending on time and location. Something like 1 of every 3 kids didn't make it to adulthood. That's unfettered "childhood diseases" in action. That is what you antivaxxer moral and intellectual degenerates are bringing back.

We don't call them "childhood diseases" because they are harmless to kids, we call them that because... that's just how the arrow of time plus inevitability works! You can't catch them before you are born, obviously, and you cannot avoid them forever or even very long usually -- not without almost everyone being vaccinated anyway, hint, hint.

Your choices are get vaccinated or get sick (and with it disability or death). Fuck you if you choose the latter for anyone in your care.
