An Iran Conspiracy Theory

Vladimir Putin has Trump by the balls.

He is in desperate straits in his war against Ukraine. He is running out of money and political capital.

He has something on Trump that nobody knows. We have seen the evidence time after time when Trump acts in the interest of Russia and Putin.

As I type this, Kharg Island, which reportedly refines about 20% of the world's oil supply, is being attacked. Who does that benefit? Follow the money.

When the Strait of Hormuz is closed, who does that benefit?

When the price of a barrel of oil skyrockets, who does that benefit?

It all points to Putin and Trump is doing his dirty work to keep him afloat in Ukraine and in Moscow.

That is my conspiracy theory for today.

It would make Putin even more desperate for oil revenue. The only way he could survive would be for the price of oil to skyrocket.

what oil he's getting out is overland to nations like India. virtually all of his ocean going transports have been stymied.

It is a simple supply and demand issue.

He, Putin, is in much better shape with oil at $120 dollars a barrel than at $60 dollars a barrel. With a low supply, he needs higher prices for the demand. Trump is doing that for him.

All the reasons that have been stated for going to war are flimsy, at best.

If the price of oil had not gone up, Putin could very well be in a real bind in Ukraine and at home.

Russia is just a gas station with an army, paraphrasing John McCain.

11. I have to find the analysis...

there was a great report that while the prices are rising and appears good on paper for Russia, the actual benefits are pretty minimum. giving that their ghost fleet grossly limited and refinery ports where they refuel have been damaged for years to come. the cost benefit analysis basically said that with the amount of infrastructure that needs to be repaired, what gains russis does make in prices will be quickly spent in trying to keep everything from flying apart.

let me dig around a bit.

A drowning man grasping for a straw. It may be that Putin thinks this is the only hope that he has? I thought I heard that Zelinskyy made a comment yesterday that Ukraine would halt the attacks on Russia's oil refineries.

and as such, putin is caught between a rock and a hard place.

their economy is basically being propped up by their defense industry, it stops the war now, the go into a recession.

he can't stop the war.

correction: if he continues the war, he will certainly have a recession, if he stops the war, he crashes the economy

And, as mentioned above, Ukraine has been putting some serious hurt on pootin's plan of fomenting this war on Iran by destroying not only refineries and land assets, they have now taken out much of the transport operations at e=several ports making it more costly to sell his oil which is getting harder to produce. Pootin is not going to reap the benefits he perceived.

Then there's the fact that Iran is using pootin's help while putting some hurt on the saudi interests as well as other gulf states with whom US also has partnerships. There's several decades' worth of infrastructure going up in flames right now and we're only hearing about a fraction of it.

As soon as we can, we the people have to convert to renewables and invent new ways of feeding ourselves without the fossil fuel paradigm. Not going to be easy for many but it has to happen, we've known this for a long time and have been stifled at every turn. That ends here with this stupid fucking war initiated by our stupid fucking excuse for a president.

I just can't believe this fucking shit.

8. More likely its NuttyYahoo with sway over Trump

Attacking Iran doesn't help Russia that much.

It does helps Israel in many ways. And many think "Epstein" eventually ends up involving the Mossad. So that may be a more likely "conspiracy" theory. Both Trump and NuttyYahoo don't want things in the Epstein files out there.
