Ceasefire is hanging on by a thread, according to CNN right now.

Iran says the strait remains closed. Trump says the 10 point plan is a good starting point for negotiations, but the state dept. previously said that was thrown in the garbage. There is confusion over Hormuz, Lebanon, and uranium according to CNN.

Chaos continues to reign and we are worse off than before trump started this war of choice. If he wants to use this as a pretext to pull out of Iran, I would be okay with that. But that means no 200 billion extra funding. No cuts to social services to pay for it. And I reserve my right to criticize the entire debacle to my heart's content.

1. Witkoff and Kushner are not competent diplomatic negotiators.

They forgot to include Israel, or, apparently, read Iran's terms. Trump just wanted to say he made a deal and commence covering himself in glorious lies.

But AFAIK the US hasn't started bombing again. Yet.

Trump's probably lost his appetite for Iranian blood and is ready to move on to strangling Cuba.
