I read with interest the details of the rescue of the navigator who was hiding after being shot.
When I read this: Two MC-130J, a special operations aircraft, landed .. they ran into problems when their nose wheels sank into the ground and couldnt take off.
Later, once the mission was completed the U.S. destroyed the two stuck MC-130Js which cost more than $100 million each, also two H-6 Little Bird helicopters so their sensitive technology wouldnt be compromised.
And, of course, the two aircraft shot earlier when their pilots were rescued, probably costing more millions..

Mission aside it's as if destroying military equipment financially benefits the grifters.
