Ari Melbatoast is proffering an ode to Jay-Z today!

Why he’s the second coming of Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, Marianne Moore, William Shakespeare and John Milton all in one. Didn’t you know?

And it’s not even Friday!!! To what do I owe this spectacular good fortune?

Someone needs to slap him to stop appropriating black culture to try to look cool.

Can’t believe they fired Katie Phang and kept that fool.

I have the misfortune of seeing him in his rap mode what I see is akin to Chuck Schumer trying to moonwalk.

I can not watch him. I wish they'd kept Katy Phang or Joy instead of him.

I like opera, but many people don't; so, knowing that, if I were the host of a news/opinion cable show I would not make my audience, which probably mostly doesn't share my enthusiasm, listen to clips of famous singers performing Puccini.

Even though he’s neither cool, nor a dad.

Every rap/hip-hop ”lyric” is slowly recited, with appropriate long pauses, as if it’s the most profound thought ever uttered, while he stares at the camera daring you to disagree.
