SO many of the super religious people I know believe that it doesn't matter what they do or say, because "we're saved and forgiven of everything we've done or will do!".

They don't feel an urge to be good people or treat others well, because they believe that saying the words are more important than living the life.

Almost all of the atheists I know are, generally speaking, better humans than the religious ones.

about the Pharisees of his time. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer
from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own
character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. That does not sound like something you would want on your eternal resume.
