Reporter: Iran is not listening to your threats about opening the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump: How do you know that?

Reporter: Because it’s still blocked. Are they reopening it?

What SHOULD happen when two sided negotiate is that they go back to their separate corners, re-group, and see if there's any way to get past the log jam.

And after 21 hours...which is NOTHING in terms of a global negotiation...Vance says "well, we tried, and Iran is the one who's going to lose on this," and Trump renews his threats.

Here's what that accomplishes.

If Iran goes back to the peace talks at all, it will only be to get under Trump's skin and inform him that he's not giving them "orders."

If you've seen the AI videos and Lego videos and such coming out of Iran (or just trolls, worldwide), the WORLD is not standing back in AWE witnessing the MASTERFUL Trump do his thing. The WORLD is mocking him. And the world leaders who AREN'T are basically saying "You circumvented protocol and got yourself into this. Now, get yourself out."

Trump keeps saying he holds all the cards, and from where I'm sitting, he's not holding any cards at all.

and most powerful military in the world
means he has all the cards.
In his stunning ignorance he STILL can’t realize that the military won’t be the solution to his problem, but his misuse of it will be to
everyones detriment.
He stupidly keeps digging himself into an ever deeper grave.

Including the last year of negotiations when Kerry negotiated for weeks with a healing broken femur and Ernie Moniz, a former MIT professor of nuclear physics!

I wonder if Vance ever negotiated anything before.
