As a former agnostic, I was never really believing in the Antichrist, but I do now. It started when I heard some pundit say “He’s the luckiest man in the world” and it sent shivers down my spine. This was after Trump got away with all of his crimes and would be able to nab the presidency. Then, to add to this, the way these evangelicals and others overlooked all his scandals and worshipped him. There was no explanation for it. It was like half the population had some spell cast over them. Then the cruel and evil things he started to do. What gets me is how these religious people were ignoring all of this stuff and going against what was in the Bible. I am hardly an expert on what is in the Bible but knew that something was very wrong. I think it’s in the Bible about so-called Christians following the Antichrist - worshipping false idols.

a general list of descriptions regarding the Antichrist that can also be found online in many places or even in The Bible believe it or not. It's one point and not exclusive. And yes, it says worshiped by all except those who believe in the true Christ. And no that isn't exclusive either, there are many descriptions, and Trump matches almost none of them.
This has been said about every President I can remember for the past 30 years, probably before that as well had I been paying attention to politics when I was a little kid.

An "antichrist" or "antichrists" are just mentioned in the two epistles of John.

https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=antichrist&version=NIV

Defined as "denying the Father and the Son", "does not acknowledge Jesus" or "do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh".

42. So that is the first "beast", not an antichrist
Tue Apr 14, 2026, 05:57 PM
Yesterday
And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.

10 “If anyone is to go into captivity,
into captivity they will go.
If anyone is to be killed with the sword,
with the sword they will be killed.”

This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2013&version=NIV

I mean, if you're going to insist on a precise definition from biblical wording, then you can't go changing "beast" to "antichrist".

when you said 'does not meet the requirement "worshiped and followed by all". So no, not even close.' But you can't use a quote that is "symbolism and ambiguity" to tell others they're wrong because they weren't precise enough.

The anti-Christ is a part of Revelation, which is - I'll be polite - fiction. I don't believe in the rapture, the second coming, or any of that bullshit. I think the bishops in Charlemagne's councils who included that book in the New Testament were morons for doing so. Clearly, it's either an allegorical hit piece on the Roman government, or the ravings of someone who was tripping on the wrong kind of Mediterranean mushroom. I can't help but think that we'd be much better off as a society if people weren't trying to trigger the end of the world because "the Bible."

As is Franklin Graham, and other "Religious leaders" who claim to speak for Christ, but deviate from the overall teachings of Christ through cherry picking and re-contextulizating, along with outright fabrication of even the strictest texts for their own profit and a wider cult following.
Fascism is a three legged throne; strict religion, strict corporatism, and strict government acting as one. The environment to breed Anti-Christs.

whether one believes he is "an anti-Christ" or "the anti-Christ" whether or not one believes he meets the criteria, whether one believes in God or the tooth fairy... what's the difference?

When what he does, says, promotes, INSPIRES, and causes, results in widespread and worldwide death, conflict, displacement, calamity, worry, suffering, and misery, to literally MILLIONS - ALL contrary to the teachings of Christ.

Tomato, to-MAH-to. SAME DIFFERENCE.
