I just got a mailer in my mail recruiting for a US Postal inspector POLICE federal agent job

For April 14-23. And it states it is an equal opportunity employer? Make an impact.

WTF?

If this part of their plan to go after vote by mail. You drop off your ballot and have a federal thug demand proof of citizenship?

They investigate postal crimes or crimes using the postal system. A friend is an attorney and she has always said she'd rather take on any other federal agency except the Post Office. When they investigate and then prosecute they usually have a nearly air tight case.

Example: I went to college with an idiot who was selling Special K through the mail. He was under investigation for distribution with local and state enforcement until they were contacted by the postal inspector. Since idiot used the mail he was prosecuted by the postal inspector instead of another agency's drug task force.

It seems all the guy does is make sure people park where they're supposed to. I don't think he gets out of his car, except maybe to write a ticket occasionally. Nothing nefarious happening.
