Got my e-ballot for CA

Now I have to sort out who to vote for for governor.
It will not be any of the 5% or lower.
Suggestions with reasons welcome.
Please no dragging down other candidates.
No candidate is ever a perfect match. I want to vote for who I think is best to push the needle the way I want it to go.
For the general election I will be supporting any chosen dem.

2. I'm going to wait a bit and watch the debates. Then I'm going to wait a little longer to see the response

in the polls.

April 22: Nexstar stations to air California governor debate
April 28: California governor debate held at Pomona College
May 5: CNN hosts California primary debate in Los Angeles area

I'm leaning towards Becerra and liked this little comparison I saw on Bluesky from Indivisible in CA; however, I still want to keep an open mind via the debates.

The following is a copy/paste from Indivisible of California (Al Wei) on CA gubernatorial candidates' policies and experience on #climate and #FossilFuels

until the last week to see where my vote will matter most.

Today I’d vote for Becerra but if he hasn’t gained enough traction or there are surprises, I don’t want to throw my vote away.
