Gingrich took 38 percent of support, followed by Romney at 33 percent, Rick Santorum at 13 percent and Ron Paul at 10 percent.
The poll was conducted between Jan. 22-23 and has a margin of error of 3.2 percent.

Romney held a double-digit lead over Gingrich in the same poll only one week ago, but its been a busy week after a couple of fiery debate performances, Gingrich won Saturdays South Carolina primary in convincing fashion.

different polls. The last PPP poll had Romney up by 10. so this one is a 15 point swing to Newt.

Romney is in no way surging. He is shriveling.
