Hmmm... what could we get in exchange for keeping Boehner as speaker?

Boehner probably has 30-40 pugs who will do whatever he says, so the Democratic caucus has the power (in my understanding of things) to keep Boehner in place over overwhelming Republican opposition.

I doubt Boehner would go for it because such treachery would greatly reduce his post Congress earning power on K Street.

But I like something for nothing. If I was Pelosi I'd offer to install Boehner in exchange for putting more Democratic bills to a vote. Say 10 bills during the 2 years of the Congress, at Pelosi's discretion.

That's all we need.

The book deals alone after he leaves the Congress on January 3, 2015 would be enough to keep him in margaritas and golf club fees in perpetuity.

And there would be TONS of book deals and speaking deals for the one and only Speaker of the ENTIRE House.
