Giants closer Sergio Romo detained at Las Vegas airport (for arguing with TSA)

Jose Hernandez, public information officer of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, confirmed officers were called to the airport because of a disturbance involving Romo.

"He was detained and issued a citation for violation of airport rules, then he was released,'' Hernandez said.

TMZ.com first reported the story, saying Romo got in a heated argument with a TSA agent after failing to produce ID to clear security. Citing unnamed law-enforcement sources, the story said Romo was handcuffed and appeared to be under the influence. Hernandez said he had no information that would confirm that.

I'm no fan of the TSA, but it doesn't look like Sergio Romo (no relation to the bum Dallas Cowboys quarterback) made a stand against the evils of the TSA like the porno X-ray scanners or groping screeners but rather was showing typical celebrity entitlement.

Nothing to do with being a celebrity.

Plenty of stories of drunk nobodies causing trouble for TSA.

that someone pulled out their smart phone, filmed it, then sent it to TMZ.

Hell, I am a lifelong Giants fan, and I could care less about this story.
