Trump posted that thing about "Dumocrats" never being "happy." Can you think of something he could do to make us happy? (Original Post) Miles Archer 21 hrs ago OP

On national television!
That would be awesome!

However, I would challenge his claim that we are always angry. If you look at random images of Trump, the majority look angry, sullen or sad. This at a time when he has a packed Supreme Court and not just Republican majorities in the House and Senate, but leadership that enforces what he wants. Yet he still is writing posts raging with anger and never looks happy

However, if you look at images of Obama or others like Talarico, Mamdani and Ossoff, the majority of the pictures look happy, engaged or just serious. Close your eyes and picture any Democrat you are familiar enough to picture, is there any where the image does not have a smile or at least a pleasant neutral look?

Then look at our cultural leaders. Look at Steven Colbert's last show - which could have been just a sad moment when owners wanting to please Trump cancelled the top rated show. Yet the overall mood was defiance mixed with humor, fun, and joyousness.

Then look at us. There is anger at what he has done, from destroying much of how the White House we always thought we would have forever to the more essential possible loss of a loved form of government that, in retrospect we mostly took for granted. However, even at very serious rallies there are elements of shared community and fun. I hope we never lose that.

Not to mention, even as President Trump can't find musicians who want to be at his events, that he, by nature of his personality, makes partisan. Yet there are at least two major concerts that have been announced by people on our side with incredible lists of performers.

He may have the power of the government, but major parts of the culture are beyond his control and that makes him furious.

Trump is never happy, feels no joy, must be the center of everything, but everything is not enough.

apologies to all he has harmed and being stripped of all his wealth (and that of his kids) with proceeds being divided among his victims.

I think that would make me very happy.
