Steve Bannon calls for ICE and others to be at “every precinct” for the midterms: “If you’re armed or not, that depends upon what your state laws are”
While speaking at the “Fraud-Fighter Summit,” War Room host and former Trump official Steve Bannon urged attendees to “be at every precinct” during the upcoming midterm elections, suggesting people could even come armed, “depend[ing] upon what your state laws are.”
At the summit, Bannon also said Immigration and Customs Enforcement “has to be there and has to be there to back you up” to prevent supposed election fraud, mirroring calls from Bannon and right-wing media for ICE to be present at polling locations during the midterms. Bannon said in February, “You’re damn right we're going to have ICE surround the polls come November,” and in March podcaster Benny Johnson asked, “Can we deploy ICE to every voting booth in America? Would that fix the fraud? Of course, it would.”
STEVE BANNON: What you decide coming out of the summit tomorrow — because we're essentially 100 days away from early voting. What you decide is the plan of action. Right? In these eight to 12 congressional precincts, congressional districts we have to win — we probably have to win eight of them. What happens there in a handful of states, including Texas, is what’s going to decide whether we're still in power.
And what they intend to do is to take the House. That's why what you decide over the next 24, 48 hours, in the action plan that you come up with as the leaders of this part of the movement, which is where the rubber meets the road, at these precincts and watching this vote this November. That is what Rachel Maddow's afraid of. That's why they, at the beginning of your two-day summit, they play that last night to intimidate you, to say, Hey. We’ve war-gamed this. We know you’re vigilantes. We know you're going to come armed, and President Trump’s going to do this, this, and this.
Listen. We need to be at every precinct. If you’re armed or not, that depends upon what your state laws are. But I will tell you, ICE has to be there and has to be there to back you up, or we're going to have a situation exactly what happened in LA where they sat there and stole the election from Spencer Pratt, who I believe finished first, but no worse than a close second, and should be on the ballot in November. So these people are arrogant. And right now, they're doing very sophisticated war-gaming, very sophisticated, let’s say, association with intelligence agencies, and, I think, rogue law enforcement agencies.
