This is not getting the attention it deserves

I realize that Democrats do not get the coverage in CORPORATE media that they should and that there is a lot, a lot going on right now.
The POST OFFICE going along with Trump‘s plan to decimate our Vote by mail process is huge.

Having said that, I don’t think people understand just how dangerous the decimation of quality people at the top of our military is. The firing of highly qualified, intelligent people at the top means that highly qualified people in the lower officer ranks will be deciding to not have a career in the military. That it’s just not worth it. So we are losing qualified people at all levels. The type of people we want to have in leadership positions will realize that having integrity and honor can be detrimental to their career. So we will be left with less qualified people who will not follow the constitution. I do not get the sense that people realize how dangerous this is. I do not get the sense that the Democratic leadership realizes how important it is to pound the table about this. Epstein, destruction of our voting system, destruction of our military, it’s possible to talk about all of them.

2. I think who are going to get screwed the most by the block on vote by mail is rural voters in blue states

... who mostly vote R and rely on the postal service.

Urban voters can drop off their ballots directly at govt centers or dropbxoxes.

It is of course insane to block vote by USPS mail if a state doesn't turn their voter rolls to the USG, but we have an insane federal govt right now.

3. Rural voters in blue states

have easier access to voting than urban voters.
Just because it's rural doesn't mean there is no in person voting location. Assuming that state has in person voting. Several states only do mail in voting, and everybody there is going to be affected if post office doesn't deliver ballots.

4. To be sure, it's a nasty fucked up situation that will mess with people's right to vote, to the extent it happens.

Quite like courts will block this.

But I don't think it will help the GOP overall, is my point.

The red states are turning their voter information to Trump, so they won't be affected.

6. Blue states will vote. If Shitler blocks voting through the USPS, there are ways around that

I don't think he will be able to stop blue states from voting and counting votes.
I also think the USPS thing will be blocked in the courts.

7. What ways?

We have several states that only vote by mail.
If post office refuses to deliver ballots, what exactly are these states going to do?

12. those states will have to have people drop off their votes are designated places and not the post office

But I can't see this order not getting blocked.

But if it goes through, it will hurt tons of R voters too.

8. It's not the dropping off

It’s mailing the ballots to voters. That’s what they’re trying to stop.

while my polling place is not far away, I always vote early to avoid lines on election day, and I have occasionally used an absentee ballot, but even then I have always dropped it at the county Board of Elections.

The thing is, Delaware is a mostly red county. The northern part might be rural, but it runs down to the Northern suburbs of Columbus, and there are 250,000 residents, most of which live a 30-40 minute drive from the ONLY drop box in the county. I can handle that. I have a car. I work from home. My schedule is flexible. But there are many, many people for which that is not viable, and that would probably include the majority of blue votes in the county. Without the USPS those who can't vote on election day would be screwed.
