In most homes your thermostat has a setting

that will just run the whole house fan. Usually set to auto, change to on and it will run full time to aid in filtering interior air. If possible install clean filter or filters.

Just put a furnace/AC filter on a box fan. Tape it on. Match the dimensions best you can.

There are higher rated filters but make sure your HVAC system was designed to handle them.
