More proof McCain & Graham are losing it....

Why do McCain & Graham oppose Hagel for Sec of Defense?

He opposed the Iraq surge and favored negotiations with Iran & Syria.
He cautioned against pre-emptive strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.
He publicly critized Israeli settlement expansion in the West Bank.
He declared " ef the Jews" and complained they "didn't vote for us anyway".
He advised the presidential campaigns of both McCain & Romney....oh, hold on...it was James A. Baker III that did all these things!

McCain called Baker, the former Sec of State to Geroge HW Bush, Treasury Sec to Reagan, Sec of Commerce to Ford and Chief of Staff to George W Bush , "the smartest guy I know". Graham called him a role model when the International Republican Institute gave him the 2011 Freedom Award.

So why exactly do John McCain and Lindsay Graham oppose Hagel?

that's why they oppose Hagel.

You can bet, if Hagel had been nominated by Dumbya or Rmoney, they would be the first in line to confirm him.

Oh, and they aren't "losing it" -- they never had it to begin with.
