DU mentioned in the 'I love it when I wake up in the morning and BO is President' Facebook Page

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! Because of people here, The Democratic Underground, and the Daily Kos sharing, calling, and emailing the school district about the racist playground signs in Milford Delaware, Milford School District Superintendent Dr. Phyllis Kohel personally went out and took the signs down this afternoon. According to Dr. Kohel, who's been superintendent for less than a year, the signs were up when she took the position, and she didn't take much notice of them. Immediately, upon being made aware of them, she took them down. (RA)

Do you think it could be *what* the signs say? And the disparity between the messages?. . . Journeyman Jan 2013 #3
Without an explanation in the OP, how would a non-Spanish speaker know? And even if pnwmom Jan 2013 #5

Delaware Online reports signs have been posted at two Milford School district playgrounds with different messages for English and Spanish readers. The top sign reads, “Parental or guardian supervision is required for the use of this playground equipment. Play at your own risk.” The bottom sign however, which is in Spanish, reads,“Ustedes debe tener un permiso para jugar en este campo. Violadores seran susceptibiles a accion policial." This translates to, “You must have a permit to play in this field. Violators will be subject to police action."
