Further proof that some people are morons. (Edited)

What I mean is fucking morons.

"Dog shaved to look like lion prompts 911 call"

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/dog-lion-911-call-210734789.html

If you can't tell a dog from a lion, how the hell can you manage to make a phone call?

Notwithstanding my thread from earlier today when I confused a completely harmless Brown Water Snake with a Boa or a Python of some sort.

I feel stupid enough about that as it is!

(The OP originally said "I think I have a Ball Python in my backyard". Pics of the actual snake appear further down in the thread)

You were looking for info and you apparently got an answer. How else do people learn?

but I guess the posters there might be right that it got the end of the tail cut off. If I saw it I would think "water moccasin" so I sure wouldn't blame you for not knowing what it is.

This dog on the other hand, well, I've seen the Lion King enough to know that baby lions don't have curly manes.

I did.

I got the answer. I knew I could rely on the body of this website to point me in the right direction.

Before I put up that thread, I spent 15 minutes or so, trying to find a pic of a snake similar to my afternoon visitor so I could answer the question myself.

I thought I knew enough about snakes to identify a constrictor, as it looked like it had a Boa or Python shaped head.

That's why I deleted the OP. The thread served its purpose and ran its course.

But I still feel a bit silly!

<<<<Conflicted!>>>>

Or Bon Jovi, when he was dye-blonde in the 80's.

Also, 'Ball Python Post' would be a great title for an oater, from the novel of a different name.
