I'm guessing he never mentioned this stuff only because my mother was strict about not letting him swear when my siblings and I were growing up.

I bet he'll be shocked and impressed that I know these things, lol! Thanks!

"Lorraine Bobbit t-shirt."

I agree. I don't think I could stand there either. I wonder how much wives of politicians are conditioned to stand by their husbands and put their needs second to the political career.

Apparently she said in a book: "sex is only one tenth of a marriage and that she was not adaquate so it was her fault."

Wow. She took one for the team!

If I had to guess, I'd say they had an arrangement of some sort. Not the sort of thing that conservatives like, but I know several married couples with open relationships, or 'outlets', and they are mutually accepting of it.

I just don't see a political career surviving 'so what, we do that, it's our business' in the Puritan States of America.

Believe it or not, my dad used to ride with him (casually) in the hill country around Austin Texas and until his career really took off, he was something of a family friend. I'll remember him as a nice guy that was always cool to me and my sister. Sad to see things fall apart for him, but he's only got himself to blame.

Part of me wants to shout in his ear about all the children who looked up to him as a role model. Yes, he survived testicular cancer, and that's a wonderful thing, but that doesn't give him a "doping pass." Now the cycling sport is tarnished, not to mention the Tour de France. All because he doped.

He's not a bad man, but he is complicated. A little too complicated. And that complication is of his own making.

And not just a "famous dude." Granted I was like, ages 8-12 when I saw him on a regular basis. He bought my sister her first "grown up" (12-speed touring) bike when she started to show an interest in cycling. Even after he made a name for himself, he and my dad chatted now and then. I watched all his TDF wins. Gave to LiveStrong. Always took his side vs the doping agencies that I saw as out to get him. I'm bummed that its all true.

Then you drag and drop the photos onto your desktop. Go to your photobucket account and click on LOAD. It will take you to a box where you can choose what file (I have different files for gifs, misc, Obama Family, etc) to put it in and upload just like you upload anything else.

When you go to your file and choose the photo that you want to insert into DU a box on the right gives you a choice of what kind of link you want to use. Use the Direct Link. You can click on it and the word 'copied' will show up. Then you go to the DU comment and click in the message section and your link will show up. When you choose Preview at the bottom, or Post my reply! it shows the photo.

And thought he did a good job, very proud of the man for his achievements in life.
Unfortunate that it turns out he took performance enhancing drugs but that said it seems they were all taking drugs so it was still a level playing field that he won 7 championships in,it wasnt like all you had to do was pop a pill and then go pick up the world championship trophy,to get where he did required years of heavy training and dedication, the drugs i suspect may have given him some slight advantage over some one who was drug free but its all about the winning and he did what most every one else was doing and handed them their asses 7 times.
I just dont get why everyone is so gleefull and happy to so readily tear to pieces

FUBAR is a little too complex for some of these guys, especially the republican ones.

"Repair?" They don't think that far down the road.

I think it's just this simple:

I was caught.

I am sad.
