MLK would have been 84 today...

Time flies so quickly.

On this your birthday, we remember you, Dr. King, and we give thanks for your presence in this world, and the positive changes you brought to a sick and struggling world. You remain missed..

on his birthday, and most especially on Democratic Underground. I am saddened by and sort of ashamed of my left and left leaning brethren here. Not even any recs. _sighz_

And a post asking for those who think Sara Palin an *idiot* to post to social media has 134 reommendations. Unbelievable.

I remember the early days of DU, when Dr. King was celebrated on his birthday, and I haven't confused it with the national holiday either.
Just sad.
