No White House comment on NRA game

White House spokesman Jay Carney said Tuesday that he has not discussed a new NRA game with the president.

In the game, players can use a variety of guns, including assault weapons. But the targets are all dummies or discs, not living creatures. In between rounds, gun safety tips are featured.

In his fiery press conference responding to the Newtown, Conn. massacre, NRA President Wayne LaPierre blamed violent video games in part for what he described as an increasingly violent culture.
