Murdoch becomes Kucinich's boss. Is Fox Noise now on the watch list?

I never watch Fox. Never. Fuck em!
Still, is that red herring your way of saying "yes"?

(15,558 posts)But if he ever did accept a position, would you post a snarky poll, aiming to discredit him and his supporters?
No, I watch almost no TV news and Fox would certainly be the last on my list.

I mean, why so defensive over an OP about watching Fox Noise?

(9,314 posts)You remember -- Bush's cousin was on the phone with Jeb who told him to go ahead and call Florida for George. Once that happened, the rest of the networks followed suit. It is just an old election trick when the outcome is still in question, get yourself declared the winner so your opponent will be perceived as a "sore loser" when he or she complains. This was not the first time a Bush had used this trick and it probably will not be the last.
If Fox gained an exclusive interview on the second coming of Jesus Christ, I would not break my ban to tune in even in for even that broadcast. There is absolutely NOTHING that would convince me to turn on Fox. I also tell my relatives (all conservatives) when they visit that that network is banned in this house.

(2,679 posts)my reasons for not watching fuax noise have nothing to do with Kucinich. I can only stomach looking at that channel for a few minutes at a time. The screen is always so busy with crap texting every where and all the red, then the screaming hosts. Scares the crap out of me and then my brain hurts and I get a migraine.
But I also like that Kucinich will be on sometimes. Maybe he won't sell out and maybe he will say the truth and while that will probably lead to his firing at least maybe for a brief moment some of the brain washed viewers of that channel will have a brief moment of clarity. Oh heck maybe he won't get fired if the ratings go up when he is on. This would be good to help educate many on the right what really has been happening in the country while they were being hypnotized by all this crazy right wing crap.
I do believe though that Murdoch loves money more then anything so the truth might still have a small shot at making it on that channel.

(7,640 posts)It's always on one of the overhead tvs in front of the bikes and I can't change the channels. Mostly, I read my Kindle when I'm on the bike, but I do look up occasionally and I can see who is on Fox and read the caption they usually have that describes the subject of discussion.
Today's subject was a bill to repeal the debt ceiling. Fox's take was that a repeal of the debt ceiling could lead to a downgrade. My take is that Republican debt ceiling incontinence could lead to a downgrade...
What Fitch is saying: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/15/fitch-debt-ceiling_n_2478413.html
Congress has to increase the country's debt limit, which effectively rules how much debt the U.S. can have, by the end of February or face a potential default, Fitch says.
...
Though short-term fixes are more likely than not, Riley said the U.S. political environment is not as good as it should be for a country holding the gold-chip AAA rating. The past few years, Riley said, have been marked by "self-inflicted crises" between deadlines.
Overall, Fitch reckons the debt ceiling is "an ineffective and potentially dangerous mechanism for enforcing fiscal discipline."
I report, you decide. If I see Dennis on Fox News, it will be with the sound off. No Fox Noise for me.

As for Dennis being a new FOX Snooze bobble head...it's just sad. I've no idea what he could have been thinking when he made the decision to support a propaganda network. I wouldn't be surprised if FOX hiring him is a RW attempt to divide those who support him from those who despise FOX.
