What are the GOP Governors up to?
Methinks its a little more than coincidental that 2 GOP governors (possibly more, I didn't really dig) announced that they are planning to give away their state's budget surplus & reduce state personal income taxes just over the last 72 hours. Ok, part of me thinks some reduction is an alright thing but the 
in me thinks that they're trying to do a Norquist at the local level: i.e., no budget surplus + lower tax revenues = no money for state or local programs/no other choice but to privatize or eliminate. Welcome to Midwestern USA, the new Third World.
