underemployed. I just had a conversation with a temp worker who works in my department. She is pissed because she doesn't get the benefits we do. She has been on many interviews for full time positions. I told her about the race to the bottom and how those in power are pitting us against each other. I told her about the card check and that workers in this country need to organize. She said she has no power . I told her she has a vote. She said she has given up on anything changing and she has given up on voting.
I am trying to get her to look into Organize for Action as a way to get back in the fight.
I think we should get as many unemployed to join Organize for Action as a means to get back into the fight.
