Especially since many of them are so old they wont live long enough to see Obama leave office.

Now,...to explain that statement.

I just relocated to Las Vegas and there's this guy I know who I mentioned in a prior post who is a regular FOX "News" viewer.

He was CONVINCED Romney was going to win. He was also convinced this would lead to a massive uprising of blacks nationwide so he actually fled the country prior to the election fully expecting to hear about American cities in flames.

A long time Conservative, he actually bought a doormat years ago from the O'Reilly website that says, "You are entering the "No Spin Zone". He is now over 85 years old and considers me to be "uneducated" and "ignorant" because I voted for Obama. He also considers me to be disloyal to not only my country but my race.

Keep in mind, the ONLY reason I am acquainted with this guy is because my fiancee was a friend of his late wife. He doesn't HAVE any friends. His kids have all disowned him (for good reason) and he is PROUD to call himself "an asshole" despite my pointing out that means he's full of shit. I'd feel sorry for the guy but he brought it all on himself with his constant stewing in hate and his smug superiority.

4. I hear ya....

Frustrating, but I see things changing in DC.

Everyone talks about how slow things move in the Beltway but our main obstacle at this point is the media.

It still acts like any politician who does something that can be called "Liberal" is committing political suicide however a guy who lied us into a war and made money on it is considered an honored guest on the Sunday shows and their opinion is considered to be "serious" or "valid".

You just don't hear anyone anymore calling themselves a "Dittohead" like you used to.

It wasn't that long ago when it wasn't uncommon to find a twenty-something who acted like they had discovered a special wisdom in Conservatism. Now those types are shunned by their peers. And FORGET using it thinking it is attractive to women. That train left when they defended torture.
