Hundreds of parents had bundled up their infants and toddlers and strapped protest signs to their strollers. Michael Kennedy, 33, and his wife Bethany, who is pregnant, drove their four children down from Westerly, Rhode Island to stand in 20-degree weather on the Mall.
This was at the anti-choice march in DC today.

In order to protect those who need it, we must keep it legal, so the providers will do right by their customers.

"...right and wrong have become subservient to a hedonism of the moment..."

(5,067 posts)frigid weather to protest for hours? Or do they only care before birth? Good grief, they are even telling people not to leave their animals out in this cold.

(24,890 posts)something "right and moral." Whatever, I don't care if they stand in negative 15 degrees to express themselves. But, taking infants and small children??!!
Our dog wore a coat to be leash walked today...short walks.....and then came in to sit on her fuzzy blanket on the couch. We are 3 or 4 hundred miles SOUTH of DC.

(35,392 posts)political props?
Oh, yeah ... it was because children were victims of shootings, and the person using the "props" was a Democrat.

(10,427 posts)I live in the DC metro area. It was 25 degrees outside today. It started to snow about 2 PM. The fucking anti-choicers are so stupid that they have their big rally in DC in late January, when the weather is the coldest. And, on a weekday? Blocking major traffic arteries, sidewalks, and Metro? Yeah, way to endear yourselves to the locals, folks.
They're seagulls. They fly in, crap all over everything, make a lot of noise, then fly away.
