Fighting the Republican power grab.

If the Repukes go ahead with their desperate, or as Cheney once remarked, "last throes" proposal to rig the electoral vote in a handful of Blue states controlled by Rebuke state legislatures, there will be extreme push-back.

The desperation of people who have been stripped of their voting power in a democracy will make the marches during the Civil Rights battles and the Vietnam War protests look like a lazy stroll in the park. There may be extreme consequences that Repukes may want to consider before they rush ahead.

For example, how much in State taxes come from cities like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus or Richmond? Want to make those citizens 3/5 of a person? Go ahead, and maybe they will refuse to pay state taxes.

How much could a concentrated boycott effort affect an area like Virginia Beach?

As Commander-in-Chief, maybe President Obama would find that states like New York, or New Jersey, or Rhode Island would welcome a couple of Carrier Battle Groups or a Master Jet Base.

Play with peoples electoral power, and you can quickly become a Banana Republic.

Hopefully, some sane heads on the Repuke side with keep them from lighting that fuse, but if they do...it will be ugly!
