Clinton says can't predict her future, as 2016 looms

WASHINGTON — With only days left until she steps down as America's top diplomat, Hillary Clinton left the door open Sunday to a possible future run in the 2016 presidential elections.

And, in a rare joint interview with CBS, she appeared to win the endorsement of none other than President Barack Obama, the man who beat her in the 2008 race to be the Democratic Party's nominee.

For months, 65-year-old Clinton has insisted that after more than two decades in the political spotlight she intends to step back into the shadows, catch up on some rest and enjoy some downtime for a change.

But with her popularity riding high -- at around 65 percent according to a Washington Post-ABC poll last week -- many believe she will bounce back to take another shot at being the nation's first woman president in 2016.

"I am still secretary of state. So I'm out of politics," Clinton told CBS television's "60 Minutes" carefully, leaving herself the option of reviving her career once she leaves government.

"I'm still secretary of state. So, I'm out of politics." Still SoS, but next week, no more. I predict she will be back in politics shortly.

They need to but they will not because every beat of their incessant war drum they know divides Parties and country fills their coffers with more $$$$$$$$$$.

They spew political propaganda and they (all of them) profit by inciting us. They make the divide, and then they profit from it and none of it helps our society or improves our democracy. Instead it corrupts our society.

4. Hillary45. The only question remaining is if Michelle will run for 46 in 2024.

and President Clinton will nominate Barack Obama for USSupreme Court in 2018.

but first, Hillary45 will win the noble peace prize next year, after being the singular best
SOS ever. It will be decades and decades before we ever see as great a SOS as Hillary45
was.All others past and future will be less than Hillary45 was.

the other question that remains is-where will history put Hillary45 on the best president list.
we have Lincoln at #1
FDR at #2
LBJ at #3
Obama at #4
will Hillary45 end up at #5 and drop Jimmy Carter to #6?

and wouldn't it be great if by then a President is allowed to run again, and in 2032 and 2036 President Obama is then #47?

Unless she is worse off than she is letting on, health-wise, I believe
Mrs. Clinton WILL run in '16. If she IS going to run, she needs to do it soon.

I respect our VP, but I know who I'd pick for POTUS.

that she has been in for many years. Then she is going to run, and very likely going to win. The only potential obstacle would be health issues.

I'll always think that it should have been Hillary in 2008 and Obama in 2016, but I'm fine with the reverse. Sixteen years of a Democrat in the WH would do the country good.
