According to Michael in his autobiography:

Picture this. The year is 1964. It`s a lovely June day. We`re on the campus of the exclusive Judson prep school outside Scottsdale, Ariz. The commencement speaker is Ronald Reagan. There he is with that grin of his, standing with several of the seniors who have been invited to pose for pictures with him. They stand proudly in their caps and gowns.

Ronald Reagan, always good with crowds, chats a little with each graduate.

``My name is Ronald Reagan. What`s yours?`` he says to one young boy.

``I`m your son Mike,`` the boy says.

``Oh,`` says Ronald Reagan. ``I didn`t recognize you.``

My apologies to the poster to whom I snarkily replied! I assumed it was something that had taken place in the early 1990's.

Even harder for me to believe that Michael went uber-conservative after all that. Still trying to get Daddy to notice him, I guess.

And too much of that rubbed off on to Michael.

4. Not sure if he still has a radio show...

...but he apparently still makes the rounds on Fox.

My most vivid memory of him came during Saint Ronnie's funeral. Nancy and Ron Jr. were standing there and Michael kind of "inserted himself" into the situation...getting shoulder to shoulder with Nancy. Can;t remember if he put his arm around her or not, but all of a sudden she looked up and GLARED at him with this "What the HELL do YOU want" look. It was a chilling moment, and her feelings were pretty damned obvious.

be excepted by Nancy and the kids. His adopted parents both have died. Who does he have left? I feel bad for him. But he still is a jerk.

even think to tell Ron Jr. and Patty that he existed till he showed up one day as a teen-ager needing a place to stay.

then after a while he noticed some construction going on in the house. He thought, "they're building me a room." When it was finished, the maid came to Michael and proudly showed him HER new room. Michael was given the maid's old room.

Reagan began calling Michael "Schmuck." Michael was so proud, thinking his dad gave him a nickname, till he found out from friends what it meant.

Michael's first autobiography is worth reading - "From the Outside Looking In"

too. Nancy is much like Mommy Dearest while Ronnie is pretty much oblivious to what is going on. I'll have to get Michael's, sounds interesting.
