A picture of a zombie eating Wayne La Pierre. jillan Jan 2013 #10
That would be sweet, but zombies often enjoy brains, so many won't go for him. nt ZombieHorde Jan 2013 #12

90% of success is just showing up!

So many would have withdrawn from the public eye, found reasons to not try - but not good, strong, very human but also vulnerable people like these.

They are the silent warriors who few give any credit to anymore. Kudos to all.

Somehow, I got connected with Gabby during her first run for the House, and donated to her campaign. I kept getting her "Cactus Roots Connections" newsletter, and really liked her. And I'm not even from Arizona, I live in San Francisco.

When my sister told me on the phone about a Congresswoman getting shot in Tuscon, my heart sank and a feeling of dread came over me. "It wasn't Gabrielle Giffords, was it?" We all know the answer.

I still love her, and I love and admire her brilliant, hero astronaut husband, Mark. We are so lucky to have these people on our side.

Mark is amazing. He seems to know just how to help her do what she wants to do and then the two of them together do it. Good man.
