Television personality and radio host Geraldo Rivera announced Thursday hes truly contemplating a run for Senate in New Jersey.
I mention this only briefly, fasten your seatbelt, Rivera said on his radio show. I mentioned this only briefly to my wife ... but I am and Ive been in touch with some people in the Republican Party in New Jersey. I am truly contemplating running for Senate against Frank Lautenberg or Cory Booker.

Well, maybe Donald Trump or the Octomom but as far as I know they aren't contemplating a Senate run.

(7,624 posts)Not enamored of Booker. He's a self-promoter and his fondness for charter schools and his apology for Obama campaign swipes at Bain Capital as an attack on private equity suggest he's just another Third Way "Democrat." New Jersey can do better.
