About that voice, President Obama. I have an idea that I think every supporter would agree with.

Picture this:
Al Green and President Barack Obama in the studio with
A list session players to record a duet.
Just one song-

All supporters of his campaign (as in monetary) receive a
CD or itune file for free.

Would that be historic or WHAT?

How do we make it happen?

and the reason that moment was so nice was because it's something he usually wouldn't have done. but he was in a good mood . you can tell he was really happy so able to sing a few words.

his singing the one line here was more of a in the moment thing and something he had joked around with friends since he said "you thought i wouldn/t do that" after he did that one line.

Politicians publish books, so why not other forms of creative talent?
I would pay for his musical talent before I would buy his book.

Everyone acts like music is not respectable or something...
WTH?
In my world, nothing is more dignified than music and the ability to make it.

Why does this seem so unthinkable by the DU community?
It's as if music is some how not a respectable thing for the president to engage in...
