The Gingrich campaign has officially run out of gas.

Romney and his SuperPac is outspending Gingrich two to one on advertising in Florida. The Gingrich campaign has cancelled scheduled appearances in several Florida cities. And now Newt's last desperate hope is to attract Palin followers by announcing he will find a spot for her in his administration. Stick a fork in him, he's done.

I was so enjoying the poop-flinging contest between him & Romney & wanted to see all the dirty underwear come out into public view, particularly because it's so much more effective when they do it to each other than when we try to do it to them.

Or the DNC?

I think investing in a Gingrich candidacy now would help (D)s get elected in the fall and save money overall.

But you cannot always buy an election. I'm glad that many millions were spent by Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman to teach us all that lesson.
