nothing you can do... the snow is falling, roads are closed... stillness.
If you have the heat and food and company of a loved one or good book or just your thoughts and pen and paper...
whatever you have
That stillness is sweet and appreciated

Shoveling will happen, demands return
but now that stillness
Enjoy.

Well, OK, it's pretty big. At least Gov. Patrick had the sense to shut down the highways (seizing our Constitutional freedom in typical liberal fascist fashion, according to the radio gasbags) so they won't be littered with stranded vehicles this time.

I miss the snow, we haven't had a good snowstorm in OKC for the past 2 years. Of course, the few years before that, we had really severe ice and snow storms which are unusual for us. Dangerous, but fun--that's what's winter should be about.

That old snowthrower did it job, but I'm more tired using it. I had a choice leave it in the back garage and climb threw the snow or cover it by the back step. I plugged it in and covered it with the BBQ grill cover, worked great. We had light snow but it piled up with drifiting here in the area 60 miles north of NY city. I'm glad I went out early the bright sun is making it thicken as it melts.

In other news were getting another 6 inches on Wed.

I ain't never seen or heard o' them thangs yet. Up here is not many people land, we don't see many late models until they're old news! Notice the only thing I could imagine? And the slope in the back is what made me come to that conclusion, and that there looked to be a hood in the front. one that's mainly perpendicular to the windshield... but under all that snow, you only have so many clues to go with.

Looks like you got a bit of snow there. In my neck o' the woods, that's not an uncommon sight. But I can give out some empathy... no matter how often that happens, it's still a major task moving it out of the way.

Hopefully some neighbor kids will come along with a thrower/blower and help out.

Good luck, at least you still have Internet!

Compared to farther north, this one dropped only a relative dusting around Philly.
