My father-in-law said there were no warning sirens that he could hear. He said that the way the clouds looked you didn't really need sirens. You just knew something bad was coming out of them.

We had just taken my father-in-law home. He lives within 1/2 mile of where the tornado touched down. My heart goes out to all of the families affected by this.

The last thing those guys need is some jackass who goes into hysterics and screams the obvious.

This proves it. These guys could have easily wound up dead. Only a matter of time before one of these amateur stormchasers is killed.

I wonder what first responders think of this. It would seem to me storm chasers like this, especially in a populated area (as opposed to a farm field) and so close to a storm would be just one more thing I'd have to worry about. Especially since, in one part of the video, they almost run someone else off the road.

But it IS amazing video. I hope I never ever see one of these in person, and my heart goes out to everyone who had to endure this awful storm.
