Gas prices shoot up .10 -.20 a gallon.
I can't help but to wonder if that sudden overnight increase was a deliberate slap in the face to the President's stated progressive energy, environmental and economic plan.
The oil companies want to choke off any resurgence in the economy as a political gambit to damage the current Administration thereby curtailing any sustainable energy switchover.
I do believe we desperately need a Manhattan Project/Marshall Plan for the U.S. in rapidly developing and adapting to sustainable forms of renewable energy.
Releasing the dead end, fossil fuel's industry's short hair hold on the American People and our economy is long overdue.

Obama stated quite clearly how we're pumping more domestic oil than ever and using less foreign oil, so an overnight .10 - .20 rise in the price of gasoline is virtually a direct rebuttal to his statements of progress on the energy front to the average person.
