Well, Fox News has replaced Sarah Palin with the gravitas that is Herman Cain.

Well done,Fox News,well done.

Herman Cain is Fox News' newest contributor, the network announced on Friday.

Cain will contribute analysis and commentary on Fox News, as well as Fox Business Network. Bill Shine, Fox News' executive vice-president of programming, called Cain "a valuable addition" in a statement released on Friday. "As a political expert with business savvy, he brings an important voice to the nation's debates," Shine said.

Cain added, "I'm excited about joining the FOX family as a contributor because it is an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America."

This is not Cain's first foray into media. In addition to making previous appearances on Fox News and hosting a radio show, Cain attempted to start his own TV network called Cain TV.
