Cruise Ship ‘Survivor’ Politely Makes CNN Reporter Look Like Shallow Idiot (VIDEO)

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/02/16/cruise-ship-survivor-politely-makes-cnn-reporter-look-like-shallow-idiot-video/

“The isolation factor you described, this is the same sort of thing that many people who went through Katrina in New Orleans – those that were left behind – they never heard anything either,” Savidge noted.

“I imagine that’s something very similar,” he added after noting passengers’ lack of ability to communicate with the mainland.

“Yeah, but let’s put that in perspective,” the measured passenger replied. “Katrina was a major devastation. We’re in a freaking cruise ship.”

But interviewers typically need to think fast on their feet. Some of them do better than others and some of the really good ones do better than at other times.

Which is why CNN has such spectacular failures.

Keep in mind that they are the ones who decided to attract FOX "News" viewers for ratings and abandoned the notion of news.

news source lately. They often put up clips from fox and then 'discuss' as if there is something about the 'story' worth discussing. I will be blocking CNN from my tv.

conflate and equate two issues that have nothing in common. Good of this fellow to bust his bubble. This example shows how weaker people would just fall in line with the contrived dialogue. People such as Erin here who has already adapted to "manufactured consent corporate media mindset". This good fellow saw right through it however and showed what it means to be solid and not a tool for a buck. Good on him.

He said it was stinky but kind of fun and exciting.
The staff did an excellent job of minimizing the discomfort.
Everyone slept out on the decks and it was pleasant sleeping under the stars.
