A top tea party group is taking its clash with Karl Rove to a new level, sending out a fundraising email Tuesday featuring a photoshopped image of the GOP operative in an SS uniform.

“Wipe the Smirk Off Karl Rove’s Face,” reads the subject line of the email, from Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots.

Rove's "Deeper not wider" approach to winning elections for Shrub created this problem. Now the (R)s can't move to the middle without losing more support than they can possibly gain. The problem is that there is no way to do anything but shrink the party by continuing to exclude the middle. Either way they move the party shrinks. By playing to the extremists it shrinks more slowly, but it still shrinks. (This is also why they have started the "Obama doesn't want a deal on Immigration" meme. Their only hope is to sink Immigration Reform and blame the (D)s for it. If they make the deal they lose their base and if they are seen as killing the deal they lose the middle.)

"Bush's Brain" did what none of us could have ever possibly done, cause permanent damage to the Republican Party from within.
