If We Let The Free Market Determine The Wage Will Firefighters And Police Be Privatized?

After all the GOP and right wingers seem to want such a scenario if you follow their logic to the bitter end.

1. If the free market determines wages, there will be a resurgence in slavery.

And people won't be paid enough to cover their needs.

2. Doing Nothing On The Minimum Wage And Leaving Where It Is Permanently Pretty

much accomplishes their goals in many ways. They may not achieve a free market wage but the minimum as it is keeps the pay so low it is almost like free market.

I keep saying the GOP is seeking "wage parity" with the global market. Why workers do not understand what they are doing and revolt I do not know. Conditions in GOP dominant districts continue to go downhill, yet the voters keep electing these GOPPERS. I am surprised how many "teabaggers" stay in power. Look at Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi, etc. Almost all the red states are no more than trailer parks.

And, if you think service is slowing down now, or police brutality is growing, wait until they are all privatized. That crap at the Abu prison will look like the good old days.

4. And if it's privatized only the wealthiest will have it.

There will be arms races and strategic arson, and lots and lots of those Republicans who think this is a swell idea will lose everything along with the rest of us.
