On her Friday night show, Rachael reminded us about former Senator Joe McCarthy and how he operated. Guilty by accusation without any proof. It seems some R's are using his tactics and not being called on it. Some want to rewrite Joe's history with lipstick on the pig. Are we so dumb to fall for this again?

So today we pulled out our DVD of "Good Night, Good Luck" that Clooney directed and played the part of Fred Friendly. Loved it in the theater. I highly recommend DU'ers watch Maddow's Friday episode, Good Night, and Tail Gunner Joe, so we don't get fooled again!

Thankfully Joe was exposed and censured. Will others using these tactics get the same treatment?
