Pope Says God Told Him It Was Time To Go

The Pope has delivered an emotional last Sunday prayer in St Peter's Square, saying God had told him to devote himself to prayer but assuring supporters he would not "abandon" the Church.

Tens of thousands of supporters turned out for Benedict XVI's historic prayers ahead of his formal resignation on Thursday, often interrupting the Pope with their clapping, cheering and chanting.

"The Lord is calling me to climb the mountain, to dedicate myself even more to prayer and meditation. But this does not mean abandoning the Church," the Pope told the crowd from the window of his residence in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican.

"If God is asking me to do this it is precisely so I can continue to serve with the same dedication and love as before but in a way that is more appropriate for my age and for my strength."

For any doubt in anyones mind whether religion is a "corrupt curtain of controlling crap", this should just about seal the deal.

What a shame that the organization created by man to (ostensibly) study spirituality is so chocked full of the sort of greedy, corrupt bastards we've come to expect in the Federal Government.

Put your hands behind your back, you have the right to remain silent, anything you say can be used against you in a court of law...you have the right to an attorney...if you can't afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you...?

Something like that?

They gave him no guarantees from prosecution if he ever set foot outside of the Vatican. Seems that there are several international criminal indictments waiting to be served if he does.

Benny is fucked, big time, and he did it to himself.

This isn't over, not by a long shot.

All Hell is soon to break out in the RCC, this is only the beginning of a huge purge.

Too many people, too many witnesses, too many crimes.

The Vatican can't have them all killed, like they used to do.

He swore fealty to Hitler on a daily basis and got a keen dagger that said "blood and iron". He got to engage in many quasi religious ceremonies with a snappy salute along with scientific racial information about Herr Ratzingers superiority. The Papal ring is just another token symbol he gets to discard like the dagger only this time God told him to do it. Take his word for it God works in mysterious ways and has interesting timing. Do not expect any public confessions from this man it is not in his repertoire.

Do something useful you lazy ignorant fuck. There are people starving and you sit on you fat ass amidst untold wealth and "meditate". Fuck you you fucking do-nothing piece of shit. Staring at the wall is not "dedicating yourself" to anything except laziness.
